Chapter Five: And God Rested
The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed, to tend and keep it. And then the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” God had named the man Adam, and now gave Adam his first task. God brought every beast of the field and bird of the air which He had formed to Adam, and whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. Adam had begun to serve the Lord, as God blessed Him to be able to. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to Him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and He took one of the ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, a beautiful creation, made in His image just like the man, to serve and love. God brought the woman to the man, and Adam said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore the two shall come together as one under God, to signify a great unity in the Lord, and to foreshadow a greater purpose yet to come. God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested. He blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work.

Chapter Four: The Creator's Masterpiece
It was the sixth day. God had made living creatures to roam about the earth, each according to its kind, beautiful and majestic, wonderful creations; but something was missing. This world was not meant to be filled with mindless creatures. No, it was made for so much more, a grander purpose than any could possibly imagine. A purpose that only God knew. And what the Lord did next astounded all the angels in Heaven, and shocked all the fallen angels that had been cast down. The Lord poured out His love upon this earth so fully. God said, “Let Us make man in Our image; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” The Lord had made gods, beautifully formed and handcrafted with His own fingers, the very reflection of His being, poured out in this physical creation. He made them lords over the whole of creation. Lucifer was furious. The Lord had filled and bestowed the power of His Holy Spirit upon man. He had created physical beings to love and have relationship with, to guide and to serve, to show His true self. And from that moment Lucifer vowed to destroy man, for man had taken what he thought was rightfully his: The Power of the Living God. What Lucifer did not realize was that this power did not come from the glory or majesty of the Lord, nor the pride of the Lord, but rather His love poured out, His service, His compassion, His peace, His joy, for He is the true vine, and His fruit is grown in love. Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Chapter Three: Unto the Fifth Day
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth.” And so it was that after the third day, God made the Sun to rise and take its place in the sky, and the moon to reflect its light at night. God made the greater light of the sun to rule the day, and the lesser light of the moon to rule the night. He made the stars to shine as well, billions of brilliant lights to shine in the night sky, each with names and courses, beautifully crafted. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the fourth day. Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament in the heavens.” So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply the earth.” So the evening and the morning were the fifth day. Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. And God saw that it was good.
Chapter Two: The First Three Days
The light. It shined over all creation, emanating from God’s fingers, and shown on the face of the deep where only darkness once had been. The light was good. God was the light. The Lord divided the light from the darkness and called the light Day, and the darkness Night. He held dominion over all of it, the light and the dark. Thus the evening and the morning were the first day. The first day of a new world, a new creation. The beginning. Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” And the waters that had once covered the whole of creation with a flowing stream parted and the sky, glorious and free, came into being. God spoke, and it was so. The Spirit of God was in the midst, hovering always over the waters, and flying swiftly through the skies. God called the firmament Heaven, to surround and support the earth, leaving two waters, those above the heavens, and those below; to create a divide so that Lucifer could no longer have free passage into the heavens. This was the evening and the morning of the second day. Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together in one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so. God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of waters he called Seas. And God saw that it was good. The God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth.” and it was so. So was the beginning of growth, as the earth brought forth grass, herb, and tree, whose seed it bears within itself according to its kind. The beginning of birth, the beginning of an adventure. The beginning of life. And God saw that it was good. So the evening and the morning were the third day.

Chapter One: Lucifer
God.
Before everything was, there was God.
By His hands, this story was created. The story of life. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Darkness.
In the Heavens there lived angels of all kinds, all beautiful in the way God created them, to be the Spiritual protectors of the universe, to watch over it day and night. Among them was the most beautiful angel in Heaven: Lucifer. Lucifer was the strongest, most powerful of all angels, even stronger than the archangels Michael, the warrior, and Gabriel, the peacemaker. The Spirit of God rested in his being, and his light was glorious. But one day Lucifer started to wonder about his power. He saw how he was greater than the other angels, and was able to lead and command them to their duties. They respected him. They obeyed him. He had power. But he wanted more. Lucifer decided he wanted to rule all things. He wanted the universe for his own. He had the full power of God invested in him, why could he not be God also? So upon a time he came before God and demanded that he rule the universe. The Lord was saddened by this, as the first glimpses of pride entered the universe. God denied Lucifer the authority and power to be king of all things. He sent Lucifer away, telling him he could not possibly understand the vastness of his request, and how it would not and could not ever be. Lucifer was angered. He did not understand why God would give him all this power but not let him rule. He knew he was the best. He deserved the best. The anger rose in him, and rage entered the universe, like a thorn in its side. He called all his angels that he was given charge of before him, and he ordered them to come with him, to take heaven’s throne from the King of Kings, telling them it was God’s plan. Some obeyed, not seeing his deception, some out of allegiance. But others saw through Lucifer’s deception, and came before The Lord, telling Him of Lucifer’s plot. The Lord, who sees all things and knows all things, was once again saddened by Lucifer’s actions. He knew how it must end. Lucifer came before God with his army, and demanded the throne from The Lord. The Lord shook His head and said, “I forgive you, for you do not know what you do.”
There was a great battle in heaven that day. Lucifer’s angels outnumbered those of The Lord’s, but to his shock, he was soundly defeated. The archangel Michael brought Lucifer before The Lord, and asked what he should do with him. The Lord turned to Lucifer, saying, “Lucifer, you were my greatest creation, and I have loved you and always will love you. You have chosen to be your own God rather than serve me, and therefore you can no longer dwell in the midst of My glory.”
And in that moment the Spirit of God was released from Lucifer, and He became the least beautiful in all of Heaven. Then the Lord turned to Michael and said, “See the earth I have created? I will create upon it new life in my image, and I will send Lucifer there to roam. I have a plan, look and see that it is good. For my plans are always good, and will bring back peace for all eternity.”
So the angel Michael took Lucifer and cast him upon the earth, and in his shame, Lucifer turned away from God, and descended into the depths. Then God said, “Let there be light!” And there was light.
