This is Josh Cisewski's narration of the Bible. He writes me a new installment every night and I cannot keep this beautiful blessing to myself!

Chapter One: Lucifer
God.
Before everything was, there was God.
By His hands, this story was created. The story of life. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
Darkness.
In the Heavens there lived angels of all kinds, all beautiful in the way God created them, to be the Spiritual protectors of the universe, to watch over it day and night. Among them was the most beautiful angel in Heaven: Lucifer. Lucifer was the strongest, most powerful of all angels, even stronger than the archangels Michael, the warrior, and Gabriel, the peacemaker. The Spirit of God rested in his being, and his light was glorious. But one day Lucifer started to wonder about his power. He saw how he was greater than the other angels, and was able to lead and command them to their duties. They respected him. They obeyed him. He had power. But he wanted more. Lucifer decided he wanted to rule all things. He wanted the universe for his own. He had the full power of God invested in him, why could he not be God also? So upon a time he came before God and demanded that he rule the universe. The Lord was saddened by this, as the first glimpses of pride entered the universe. God denied Lucifer the authority and power to be king of all things. He sent Lucifer away, telling him he could not possibly understand the vastness of his request, and how it would not and could not ever be. Lucifer was angered. He did not understand why God would give him all this power but not let him rule. He knew he was the best. He deserved the best. The anger rose in him, and rage entered the universe, like a thorn in its side. He called all his angels that he was given charge of before him, and he ordered them to come with him, to take heaven’s throne from the King of Kings, telling them it was God’s plan. Some obeyed, not seeing his deception, some out of allegiance. But others saw through Lucifer’s deception, and came before The Lord, telling Him of Lucifer’s plot. The Lord, who sees all things and knows all things, was once again saddened by Lucifer’s actions. He knew how it must end. Lucifer came before God with his army, and demanded the throne from The Lord. The Lord shook His head and said, “I forgive you, for you do not know what you do.”
There was a great battle in heaven that day. Lucifer’s angels outnumbered those of The Lord’s, but to his shock, he was soundly defeated. The archangel Michael brought Lucifer before The Lord, and asked what he should do with him. The Lord turned to Lucifer, saying, “Lucifer, you were my greatest creation, and I have loved you and always will love you. You have chosen to be your own God rather than serve me, and therefore you can no longer dwell in the midst of My glory.”
And in that moment the Spirit of God was released from Lucifer, and He became the least beautiful in all of Heaven. Then the Lord turned to Michael and said, “See the earth I have created? I will create upon it new life in my image, and I will send Lucifer there to roam. I have a plan, look and see that it is good. For my plans are always good, and will bring back peace for all eternity.”
So the angel Michael took Lucifer and cast him upon the earth, and in his shame, Lucifer turned away from God, and descended into the depths. Then God said, “Let there be light!” And there was light.
